Sunshine in my Heart

This cold snap has only been around for a couple of days and already I am weary.

The dark is one thing. The cold is one thing. The two together are no fun at all.

A friend at church talked about how their family is trying to move past hurrying winter along and instead they are focusing on embracing the season.  Being fully present even in the dark and cold.

It is hard work! I am keeping sunshine in my heart and all around me. The springtime glasses might be rushing winter out the door a little, but they do make smile.  One day at a time. The light is returning.
