Smallish Bear: Hopes and Dreams
We went to our parent-teacher conference today. As has been the tradition at each of the twelve or so conferences we’ve attended before, we heard that the smallish bear reads well, enjoys math, is participatory in class and is a little bit chatty. Both bears generally receive this report.
This one is not failing gym class. We still tease her sister about her first kindergarten report card. She received a grade of Needs Improvement in P.E. The accompanying comment, “Shows poor decision making when running dodging, and fleeing,” has brought so much laughter to our family. A friend suggested we take her to the back yard and throw things at her until she got the idea.
